The Great Basin Murders
On July 14, 1972 ranchers found the nude decomposing body of Starr Valley Jane Doe in rural Elko County in the Deeth/Starr Valley area off of Dennis Flats Road. The area is about eight miles south of I-80. The victim's body had been posed in a cross-like manner.
