The Great Basin Murders
On July 16, 1974 a tourist couple found the charred remains of Thousand Springs Jane Doe in rural Elko County off of Highway 93. A red plastic fuel can was found near the body with fuel in it however a different kind of fuel had been used as an accelerant on the victim.
